CLUB MEMBERS - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: As a club member, do I receive a discount on wines I buy at Williamson Wines?

A: Club members receive their same discount on wines at our Tasting Room or on the website. The discount is automatically deducted at the time of billing.

Q: Can I order wine in addition to my Seasonal Shipment?

A: Yes, your club member benefits include the right to purchase additional quantities of our wines and selected other merchandise at the discounted price. Additionally you may give additional club memberships as a gift to your friends or business associates.

Q: How do I find out about special events?

A: With each shipment, you will receive information about upcoming events.

Q: When are the Seasonal Shipments sent?

A: Wines are typically shipped in February, May, October and December. This way we can provide the best customer service and deliver the highest quality wines. Shipments may be held due to extreme weather conditions.

Q: May I select my own wines for the Seasonal Shipments?

A: Yes – you may choose a standard delivery plan and color selection, [e.g. Three bottles per season, all red] and then supplement your order by ordering an additional, equal or greater amount of a single variety, for example, an additional three bottles per season, all Pinot Noir.

Q: How much does a club membership cost?

A: There is no fee to join Williamson Wines Club. Your credit card will only be charged at the time of shipping. We cannot invoice for shipments and we can only accept personal checks which will be cleared in advance of shipment.

Q: What is Williamson Wines Club Return Policy?

A: If you are not satisfied with our wine or service, contact us for assistance.  We take great care in making, storing and shipping our wines.  Generally we do not accept returned wine unless we have made an error, since once it is out of our wine friendly environment we are unable to control the handling.  If we are in error we will authorize the return any unopened product to us so we can exchange it or give you a refund (except where prohibited by law). In such cases we will refund the value of the item and any taxes you were charged. If you need to return wine, simply repackage the unopened bottles in the container in which they were received. Returns must be returned prepaid.  Shipping charges are non-refundable however we will refund shipping charges if we have sent the wrong item or the item is defective. If wine is replaced, we will pay the shipping costs for items sent in exchange.   If a quarterly shipment of wine is returned to us due to delivery failure we will contact you. You have 30 days to have us redirect the wine after which time it will be destroyed as we do not resell wine which has been out of our control.   If we do not receive a response, we will not refund the value of the wine, shipping fees and the taxes you were initially charged on your credit card and your club membership will be terminated.

Q: How do I cancel my membership?

A: In joining our wine club you are committed for the first year and if you cancel within the first year prior discounts will be billed to your card.  You may cancel your club membership at any time after the first four shipments have been received with no obligation or suspend your shipments for a period of time by contacting us via phone or e-mail.

Q: What happens if I move?

A: If you move, please notify us of your new address by contacting us via phone, fax, mail or email prior to your move. Contacting us ahead of time will prevent missed shipments or forwarding delivery charges. We cannot be responsible for shipping charges incurred due to misdirected wines.

Q: What is your shipping policy?

A: Each order is shipped in sturdy, shock absorbent wine shipping containers and enclosed in a cardboard box. We use recycled and environmentally friendly packaging. All wines are sold in California and title passes to the buyer. We make no representation to the legal rights of anyone to ship or import wines into any state outside of California. The buyer is solely responsible for shipment of alcoholic beverage products. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you. Delivery is via FedEx, UPS or DHL where appropriate carrier will deliver wines.

Q: What is your policy with regard to the sale of alcoholic beverages?

A: We will only sell and deliver alcoholic beverages to persons who are at least 21 years old. IN PLACING YOUR ORDER YOU REPRESENT TO US THAT YOU ARE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD AND THAT THE PERSON TO WHOM YOU ARE DIRECTING DELIVERY IS AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD. When your wine is delivered the person receiving delivery will be required to show identification proving they are alt least 21 years old.

Q: Why can't you ship to my state?

A: We do not distribute our wines or sell them through brokers, wine shops or restaurants.  This allows us to ship wine to many states in the United States and other countries where other wineries cannot because they have prior commitments with local liquor distributors.  Sometimes a state's law may have recently changed allowing wine shipments under special conditions. In some cases we still may not be able to ship wine to a state due to freight carrier restrictions. Because of these changing conditions we suggest you contact us via phone 707-433-1500 or email patrizia@williamsonwines.com so we can assist.

Q: What is your Privacy Policy?

A: At Williamson Wines we respect and protect your privacy. Your name and any information you provide to us will not be sold or shared with other companies. We request information to better understand you, our valued customer, your interest in wine, and in particular, your interest in our wines. We keep this information strictly confidential and solely for our own use. If at any time you prefer not to be included in our mailings, please let us know and we will honor your request.

PRIVACY STATEMENT

Williamson Wines does not, on its own, collect personal information on visitors to this website unless a visitor to the site submits personal information to us.

Visitors should know that the servers on which the site operates collect and make available to us, the "IP Address" of the computer which has accessed this site.

In some cases that information can include personal information such as your e-mail address. This is true of any website!

We ask people visiting our site if they wish to be added to various mailing lists and/or wine programs. We do not rent, sell or share the information on any of these lists.

This website does not currently use "cookies."
